Welcome from Santa Barbara's Relax and Scrap Weekends! Thank you for taking the time to check out the website and become familiar with our weekend retreats, excursions, and 7 day scrapbook package designed for overseas visitors.
Relax and Scrap Weekends, along with A World of Memories traveling scrapbook studio, have planned and several delightful event getaways during 2008.
Relax and Scrap Weekends is located in Santa Barbara County, California. For our overseas visitors, Santa Barbara is southern coastal community which not only possesses gorgeous beaches,
but incredible landscapes filled with picturesque grapevines, horse ranches, flower fields, a quaint Danish village and historic Spanish architecture.
Whether you want to crop all weekend, stroll the village of Solvang, explore the local wineries, walk the beach or gamble at the Chumash Casino, Relax and Scrap Weekends is to accommodate.
Our getaways are held in relaxing locations and are affordable.
Your time away from home is special whether you want to complete a project, explore the area, or learn new ways to expand your creativity, Relax and Scrap wants you to get the most to get the most out of your getaway weekend.

Retreats And Photos

During the summer of 2008, Relax and Scrap has two of our most beloved retreats scheduled.
On the weekend of May 16-18, 2008, we will be hosting a retreat from Friday at 3pm until Sunday at noon at the Royal Copenhagen Inn in Solvang, California.
Solvang is a small Danish community located in the hills of Santa Barbara County's wine country.
On June 6-8 2008, we travel to Asilomar Conference Resort in Pacific Grove, California.
Asilomar Resort is located on the Pacific Ocean and is a white sand beach refuge on the Monterey Peninsula.
This esteemed "refuge by the sea" is located on 107 acres of beachfront land near the charming town of Pacific Grove.

International Happenings

The world of scrapbooking is emerging in places all over the world. This growing worldwide addiction to scrapbooking is exciting.
To support this creative ocurrance, Relax and Scrap is honoring the international scrapbook community by offering two ways in which to promote the hobby worldwide.
The first way, is by showcasing international scrapbook artists.
Each month, Relax and Scrap will spotlight a European, Scandinavian, Latin American, Asian/Pacific Islander, Australian, and Middle Eastern scrapbook artist, a store,
and international happenings, like retreats and conferences. This will allow any Americans traveling aboard to become aware of overseas scrapbook store and meet the local scrapbookers in their overseas destination.

The second way is to promote intercultural scrapbooking by hosting retreats in California for foreign visitors.
The retreat is seven days in length and is hosted by Relax and Scrap Weekends and A World of Memories.
